First Coral Table Deployed
Marenum successfully deploys their first coral table near Pertamina Terminal, marking a significant milestone in coral cultivation efforts.
Marenum Pte Ltd deployed their first coral table near Pertamina Terminal as a testing and viability project. This milestone marks the beginning of our coral cultivation efforts in Timor-Leste waters.
The initial table was constructed using rebar and concrete, creating a stable platform for coral growth in shallow marine environments. While this first deployment serves as a proof of concept, our team is already identifying areas for improvement to enhance coral viability and survival rates.
Key achievements of this first deployment: - Successfully installed the coral table structure in optimal marine conditions - Established baseline monitoring protocols for coral growth tracking - Validated construction techniques for future table installations - Created a foundation for expanding operations to Atabae
The team plans to expand operations to Atabae and deploy 10 additional tables, building on the lessons learned from this initial installation. This first table represents more than just a structure - it's the foundation of our commitment to marine conservation and sustainable coral farming in Timor-Leste.
Our initial observations show promising conditions for coral growth, and we're optimistic about the project's potential environmental impact. This deployment validates our approach to coral permaculture and sustainable marine restoration.
Congratulations to our team for this significant milestone in marine conservation!
